How is Babel organised?

At Babel we have defined a structure of management levels with the following objectives:

To respond to the level of supervision needed in the organisation.
To recognise the differences in responsibility and demand.

A change of Management Level is considered a promotion that is determined following criteria of professional evolution (professional career, performance and competencies) that result in a greater contribution to the business.

Within Babel's cycle of professional development, the promotion process is a key process that provides a structured and transparent way to recognise the professional evolution of our professionals.

Description of the phases of the process

When can each process be carried out?

Promotion proposals are made between the months of January and June. The exact start dates of the process will be confirmed each year.

Promotion proposals are made first at Executive level and then at Senior Lead, Lead or Coordination level.

On the other hand, changes in level within the same Job Profile, for example, from Software Engineer Back I to Software Engineer Back II, are made in the Merit Review process in the month of December.

Other Job Profile changes, which do not involve a change in Management Level, can be made at any time.
